Services and activities

FREE activities to support your child’s learning and development 

  • Early Years Play and Learn sessions -  for families with children under-five with concerns about development in the prime areas such as play and interactions.
  • Small Beginnings - a group for families concerned about their child’s development in communication, interactions and / or play skills. 

FREE drop-in activities (Hastings and St Leonards)

  • Breastfeeding group
    Mondays, 1:00 pm - 2:30 pm at Hastings Town Family Hub

  • Little Pickles Messy Play Group 
    Mondays, 10am to 11.15am (term time only) at St Leonards Family Hub

  • Busy Bees Music Sing-Along Group 
    Wednesdays, 10.30am to 11.00am at Hollington Youth Hub

  • Bright Stars - Additional Needs Playgroup (booking required)
    Thursdays, 1pm to 2pm at Robsack Family Hub.

  • Stay and play: for ages 0 to 1
    Thursdays, 1pm to 2pm at East Hastings Family Hub. With infant feeding support available.

  • Stay and Play: for ages 0 to 5
    Fridays, 10am to midday, at East Hastings Family Hub

After school clubs, Reception to Year 6

Antenatal classes

Free antenatal support is available for all first-time parents across East Sussex.

Family Learning courses (free)

We offer a range of Family Learning courses both virtually and within centres. They help you give your child a positive start in life. They can support your child's learning and development.

  • Parent and Child Signing (virtual)
