Renew or apply for a chaperone licence
Child performance licensing and chaperones latest
2. Next Step
Once we receive your completed Chaperone Application form and a copy of your NSPCC Training certificate we will process your application and contact you to guide you through the rest of the process to include a link to our online payment system in order for you to pay your fee and a link to the online DBS system to commence your new Enhanced DBS application.
Please note: Even if you already had a DBS check, you need to complete a new DBS form for the role of chaperone, unless you are part of the government online DBS update service.
If you are with the online DBS Update Service, you just need to:
- show us the original DBS certificate you used to register with the update service, and
- give us permission to carry out an online update service check
If you have any (non-training) questions contact:
- Telephone: 01273 481967 or
- Email: Child employment team
