COVID-19 testing for people with symptoms
There are several sites in Sussex where polymerase chain reaction (PCR) tests can be booked. You should get a test if you:
- have symptoms
- live with someone that has symptoms or that has tested positive
- have received a positive result from a symptom-free lateral flow test either at home or at a community pharmacy
How to book a test
You can choose to visit a testing site or order a kit for at home. You should book an appointment to visit one of our test sites.

If there are no slots at these sites, you will be offered an appointment at the next closest testing site. If you are not able to get to the alternative site, try to book again a few hours later.
Mobile testing units also operate in Sussex on certain days. These will be publicised in advance.
