Get help from the Funding Advice Team

We are a free service for East Sussex Not for Profits (Charities, CIOs, Community Interest Companies and Community Groups). Sole Traders and Private Businesses can access information on our business pages

Our Team supports Not For Profits by:

  • Helping find money for your project
  • Helping you secure money by reviewing your funding applications. Our experienced team can check through your draft application, offering advice on making a strong case for a grant

We cover all sources and levels of funding for all sorts of projects. Examples include:

  • Reaching Communities to refurbish a community centre
  • Award for All application for after school activities
  • Department of Health application for Warm Homes

Who we can help

We offer support to voluntary and community groups. Your organisation must be in East Sussex.

We don’t offer support to:

What we can do

We can help you search for funding with our newsletter, guides and books and East Sussex 4 Community.

Please try to give us a reasonable amount of time to deal with your query. We aim to reply within five days.

We can help make sure your application has the best chance of success by:

  • Going through your draft application and giving you feedback
  • Organising training on how to write a good application suitable to your organisation’s needs
  • Sharing good practice

Remember, we can’t write your application for you.
