  1. Housing advice

16 or 17 and homeless or at risk of homelessness

If you are in East Sussex, to find out if we can help, contact us as soon as possible. If possible, drop in to one of our offices below or call our Single Point of Advice (SPOA):

  • St Mark’s House,
    14 Upperton Road,
    BN21 1EP
  • Ocean House,
    87–89 London Road,
    St Leonards on Sea
    TN37 6LW

Part of our screening process is to explore all possible options. We will need to ask you:

  • what happened to put you in this situation
  • about your background
  • contact details for your family and friends such as mobile phone numbers and addresses

It is accepted that the best place for young people is with their family, but if we feel you are homeless we will pass you on for a formal assessment of your needs. There are a number of different services which we can give you access to.
