You can find out more about working in Adult Social Care by visiting our recruitment pages.

Feel rewarded and help someone get back on their feet as you support them through a short rehabilitation programme.

You don’t need any experience, just a desire to make a difference. We will train you on the job, it won’t cost you a penny and there are lots of opportunities to progress.

The aim is to assist people who have had a spell of illness back to independence in their own home. Working alongside other professionals you may initially be providing some personal and intimate care, and giving emotional support to help clients regain the skills and confidence they need to manage these everyday tasks themselves.

There are permanent contracts available ranging from 18 to 30 hours per week, you will be required to have access to a car and to work alternate weekends and a mix of early and late shifts. Full time staff receive 24 days holiday plus bank holidays – this will be pro-rata for part time staff. The hourly rate is £10.62.

For an informal chat about role give us a call on 01323 466565.

This role is in the Joint Community Rehabilitation (JCR) team, a partnership between East Sussex County Council and East Sussex Healthcare NHS Trust.

It helps people to:

- remain in their own home and maximise their independence

- avoid going into hospital unnecessarily

- become independent as soon as possible after a stay in hospital

Change your world and theirs. Join us as a Support Worker in the JCR team.
