Working pattern: Part-time, Term-time only (working for 39 weeks per year plus 5.85 weeks annual leave, which will increase after 5 years' continuous service)

We are looking to appoint an Administrative Support & Communications Assistant to join our busy and dynamic office team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing general administrative support in the school office and to act as the first point of contact with parents, agencies and all visitors to the school. The role also includes responsibility for managing and co-ordinating the school’s website and social media platforms including Facebook and Twitter and all aspects of communication with our school community.
The successful candidate will be educated to GCSE level or equivalent will have attained a Grade B or 6 or above in English and a Grade C or 4 or above in Maths. They will have excellent word processing skills and desk top publishing skills and a good knowledge of Microsoft Office (in particular Outlook, Word and Excel) and have had previous office experience. This post also requires the holder to give First Aid (full training will be provided).
The working pattern will be Monday to Friday 8.30am – 3.30pm, term time only with a 30 minute unpaid lunch break. For a full job description and an application form, please contact Office@Harbour.e-sussex.sch.uk
