Hours of work: Up to 30 per week (to include Thursday and Friday)

Working pattern: Part-time, Term-time only (working for 40 weeks per year plus 6.2 weeks annual leave, which will increase after 5 years' continuous service)

(As the position is part-time/term-time only, the above salary will be pro rata)

We are looking for someone who is enthusiastic, caring and interested in working with students. As a valued member of our support staff Cover Supervisor Team, you would supervise classes when a teacher is absent, assist with examination invigilation, accompany staff on school trips and complete administrative tasks where appropriate.

This post would suit applicants who are well-organised, self-confident, with good communication and interpersonal skills. A fully comprehensive training programme will be provided for this very interesting post, although experience of working with young people to support their learning would be an advantage.

Work Permits: we may be able to obtain a Work Permit for this post but this is subject to meeting the requirements of the UK Border Agency’s Points-based Immigration System.
