Hours of work: 24 per week
Working pattern: Part-time, Term-time only (working for 39 weeks per year plus 6.05 weeks annual leave, which will increase after 5 years' continuous service)
(As the position is part-time/term-time only, the above salary will be pro rata)

The Rampion Federation Grovelands Community Primary School is looking to recruit a nursery assistant for 24 hours per week term time to join our Early Years team which support children aged 2 to 5 years old. We want to offer these children the best start to their education so we are looking for candidates who are passionate about working with young children, have experience of supporting children within an early years setting and are ambitious for all children. It is essential that the successful candidate has a minimum of level 2 or 3 in Childcare and Education or relevant equivalent qualification and a passion for working with the early years. Acorns Nursery is registered to have up to 48 children aged 2-5 daily. We have high expectations of our children and also our staff at Grovelands. Therefore the successful candidate should be prepared to work hard, contribute to the staff team and respond positively to the challenges of day-to-day school and nursery life and the changes that are being implemented within the school community.

Work Permits: we may be able to obtain a Work Permit for this post but this is subject to meeting the requirements of the UK Border Agency’s Points-based Immigration System.
