Changes to parking services and permits
On Monday 2 July 2018, changes to parking services in Lewes, Eastbourne and Hastings came into effect. There have also been changes to the way permits are issued, as part of a new enforcement contract and new system.
Parking shops are closing
The Lewes and Hastings Parking Shops and Eastbourne Parking Information Centre closed on Saturday 30 June. You can now make general parking enquiries by email to email@example.com <-- to link or telephone on 01273 335 500, and apply for permits online. You will be able to speak to Library staff in Lewes, Eastbourne and Hastings libraries to:
- pay a Penalty Charge Notice (PCN)
- collect and pay for scratch-card parking permits that you have applied for online

Changes to parking permits
You can now apply online for all permits via our new system – NSL Apply. You will no longer be able to apply for permits by post or in person. You can collect and pay for scratch-card permits at one of the above libraries, after you have registered and applied for them online, using NSL Apply. Even if your permit is not about to expire you can register at any time.
Existing RingGo permit holders
You do not need to do anything until your permit is due to expire. You will receive the usual email reminder for you to renew your permit, around four weeks before it expires. This email will tell you how to register for an account with NSL Apply, so that you can renew your permit.
There is no change to the eligibility criteria or proof needed when applying for or renewing a permit. You can check this at Resident permit proof of eligibility.<-- to link
