Contact us about parking


Parking enforcement and pay display machines

Email the: parking customer service team or telephone on 01273 335 500 (select option 1) about any of the below.

  • To request parking enforcement
  • Report a problem with a pay and display machine
  • General enquiries about parking in the boroughs of Eastbourne, Hastings or in the districts of Lewes and Rother
  • Parking in a Lewes District Council car park

The enforcement team are available seven days a week.

If you telephone the team and no one is available to answer the phone, please leave a message with your name and telephone number and a member of the team will call you back within two days.

The customer service team are available Monday to Friday, between 8am and 5pm.

Parking reviews

Available on this website are up-dates for our current reviews.

To ask for changes to parking restrictions or for new parking restrictions please complete the website form, request parking restrictions. Completing the form makes sure all the information we need to properly consider your request is collected.

Penalty Charge Notices (PCNs)

Information about PCNs are available on our website.

If your vehicle has been issued a Penalty Charge Notice (PCN), you can view the details of the PCN, the photographs taken at the time it was issued and pay or challenge it online. You will need to know the PCN number and vehicle registration to log in and manage your penalty charge notice.


Permits

Information about the different types of permits available and costs for them is available on our website.

Applications for permits must be made online using the website of NSL Apply. For advice or assistance contact the customer service team.


Car parks

Lewes District and County Hall

We enforce the car parks owned by Lewes District Council (LDC) on their behalf. We do not make the rules for the car parks or set the charges. If you would like to contact someone about changing the restrictions or charges in one of LDCs car parks please email: Lewes District Council.

Eastbourne, Hastings and Rother

We do not have any involvement with car parks in these areas. Any queries should be directed to the owner of the car park. Contact details are usually displayed on the signs in the car park. If you have been issued a PCN in one of the Eastbourne, Hastings or Rother council owned car parks you will need to contact the relevant council to pay or challenge it.

Wealden

Parking in Wealden has not been decriminalised, this means that we cannot carry out any enforcement in this area.

Enforcement of the existing on street restrictions is the responsibility of the Police. Enforcement in car parks is managed by the car park owner, in most cases this is the district council.
