Business permits

There are some temporary changes to parking and permits during the coronavirus (COVID 19) outbreak. See the: Temporary changes to parking, webpage for more information.

You can now apply for disabled parking bays and access protection markings online. For more details see: Apply for an access protection marking and also see: Apply for disabled parking bay.

Am I entitled to a business permit?

You can buy up to two business permits, allowing you to park in all zones in the controlled parking zone if:

  • your business address is within the controlled parking zone and
  • your vehicle is essential for the running of the organisation and insured for business use.

Permits are virtual, linked to the vehicle registration number, and cannot be transferred.

You should only use business permits for business use, such as making deliveries or site visits. They should not be used for personal use or long term parking. The use of business permits will be regularly monitored to make sure parking reflects compliance with these terms.

Where can I park?

As a business permit holder you can park in shared use and permit holder only bays in zone A.

Having a permit does not guarantee you a parking space.
