Joining the East Sussex Public Health Group

Shortly we will send out an invite for you to join our East Sussex Public Health group. This will be received as a task by the practice (from within SystmOne) which you can accept if you want to share data with Public Health. Once accepted, you will then have joined the group and be sharing (anonymised) data with East Sussex Public Health for the payment and audit of East Sussex Public Health Local Service Agreements (PHLSAs).

Please note that we will only report on data for those PHLSAs that a practice is currently signed up to with East Sussex Public Health.

Alternatively, you can join the group yourself from with SystmOne. To do this please follow these instructions provided by TPP:

  1. Select Setup > Users & Policy > Organisation Groups from the Main Menu.
  2. Ensure that Only show groups this organisation has joined (above the Organisation Groups tree) is not selected.
  3. Select the organisation group you want from the tree (the image below shows the East Sussex Public Health group under the parent group for High Weald Lewes Havens CCG).
  4. Click Join Group.

Depending on the membership terms of the group, you will either be able to join the group immediately or you will have to wait for your membership to be approved by the group owner. If the group has been set up to allow other organisations to freely join that group:

  • your organisation's name will be added to the list of member organisations
  • 'Automatic' is displayed in the Membership Approved By column

If the group has been set up so that organisations wishing to join that group must be approved by the group owner:

  • an 'Organisation Group membership application' task is sent to the owner organisation (the identity of the owner is displayed in the Group owner field when you select the group from the tree)
  • your organisation's name will be added to the list of member organisations
  • Not Approved' is displayed in the Membership Approved By column
  • you will only gain access to the contents of the organisation group (forms, templates, etc.) when the task sent to the owner organisation is actioned (a name will show in the Membership Approved By column to indicate that membership has been granted)

Note: There is no limit to the number of members in an organisation group.

When membership of the group has been granted, select Setup>Data Output>Form Maintenance from the Main Menu. The group you have joined is listed in the Forms Maintenance tree under 'By Availability'. All users within your organisation will be able to access everything that has been published to that group.
